    :

Ian made me a 14ft version of the Bateau. One of Ian’s many qualities is his ability to listen to the surfer/rider and make a board to your specs using his knowledge and your needs to make the perfect match. I just completed a 42 day, 800 mile, river expedition. 45 portages in Quebec’s boreal forest including 60+ class 1 to class 4 rapids. 14 hydro electric dams, this SUP has seen it all and I had to push it to the max to get myself home. It plowed through big open water in 2 to 4ft waves during storms and in your face wind driven days keeping my over 150lbs of gear afloat and intact with the many tie downs on this perfectly balanced board. When I picked up the board it was a piece of art. Now its a piece of art with character and a story that will last forever. It can handle someone on deck with a cooler just to cruise around. It can be your wave hunter though islands and inlets. Ian is a master board builder/innovator. always seeking to do his best to meet your needs. If you have a board in your head, he will make it!!
