Custom Classic
Longboards ranging from 9'0" to 10'4". I'll custom build you the "classic" balsa longboard you've always wanted. These boards are heirloom quality. You'll want your kids to have this board....some day. Any width, thichness, and hardwood species. Custom inlay and stringer layouts. I'll build these hollow core using one of two methods of constuction. Weighing roughly the same as a heavily glassed foam board. If you like the extra swing weight, stability, and superior wave catching of a classic longboard then you have to have one of these!! Custom pinlines and resin tints are available. Also available with fin boxes, but I recomend a glass-on fin.
Balsa Fish
These fish are also heirloom quality surfboards. ranging in size from 5'6" to 7'. Twin fin or quad. With unbelievable wave catching abilities due to the low entry rocker and flat bottom, these boards speed down the line, carve cutbacks, and find barrels. Feel free to customize these with nose/ tail blocks, and fin layouts. Pinlines look great on these as well.
Balsa Gun
You can have no better big wave gun than a balsa board. Just ask the big wave heavies in Hawaii.... They wouldn't trade their balsa guns for anything when the water gets heavy. I build these boards chambered as well so the weight is just right to get get you moving fast enought to catch these waves, and get you down the face. Even when the wind is rushing up, you'll have the confidence to know that your dropping in and not getting pitched. Modern rockers and bottoms available, or just go flat from the entry back. Wood nose and tail blocks available. All wood Tri- fins, deep Greenough style sinlge, or 2 plus 1. Pinlines and resin tints available.
"JuJu" Model
Ranging in size from 6' to 8'10". These eggs are designed to catch waves like a fish, and surf like a shortboard. The low entry rocker, wide nose, into a wider midsection, and flat bottom allow you to catch waves with ease. While the narrower tail widths, and very slight vee through the tail give you the manuverability of a shortboard. A fun and stylish board to have in the quiver. Best in waves ranging from knee to head high. Fin boxes available, but glass on recomended. All fin configurations available. Wood fins to match any nose and tailblock configuration. Resin tints and pinlines available.
Custom Wood Boards
Aside from the popular models above, I build completely custom orders as well. If you can dream it up... I can build it. I love working with a customer to come up with something truely unique to them and they're personal style. I make shortboards on up to longboards and everything in between. All kinds of custom options are available from inlays, nose/ tail block, and fin designs, to custom glasswork. Call for price and time quotes, and availability.
Foam Customs
I make foam boards of all shapes and sizes for those surfers who prefer the feel of a foam board under their feet. I shape short boards to fish, modern/retros to big wave guns, and of course longboards. All kinds of customizations are offered.
